Executive Director Marika MacRae and her children are safe, as are the children and staff of PAZAPA. Many of them have lost homes, family members, and friends. The back wall of the PAZAPA building collapsed and we believe the whole building may have to be demolished. We are exploring options for temporary space to run the program as well as land to buy and a new building to construct.

I have been thinking of the Pazapa children and staff all week. I visited Pazapa for a couple of weeks with Gail Boaz in 1993. I work with an organization providing health care to children with disabilities in the US now – we will work to provide financial support to Pazapa reconstruction. Our prayers are with you all!
Thank you so much for your thoughts during this sad time. We appreciate your support.
Dear Marika, TiJo, and all at PAZAPA,
I can only imagine what you are going through now, but please know that you are not forgotten! It has been ten years since I was with you but I always follow your news, and once more I am far away, now in Mongolia, and wishing I could be closer to you in order to help.
Somehow get through this, too, and keep in touch.
May God bless and keep you,
PHIL
